Manuel Antonio

Manuel Antonio National Park is teeming with wildlife, and is well known for its population of rare monkeys. Although Manuel Antonio National Park is Costa Rica's smallest national park, the diversity of wildlife in its 6.83 km2 (3 sq mi) is unequalled, with an impressive 109 species of mammals and 184 species of birds. In addition to the national park, Manuel Antonio has one of Costa Rica's most beautiful beaches, boasting perfect horseshoe bays bordered by soft white sands, dazzling blue green waters, and hilltops piled with jungle and streaming waterfalls.
